Initializing and Terminating OMDDE Communication
Prototype
int OMDdeInitialize()
void OMDdeUninitialize()

OMDdeInitialize
This function call will initialize the OMDDE data structures. It must be called before any of the other function that is in the file omdde.c. The OMDdeInitialize function returns TRUE, if the initialization succeeds and FALSE otherwise.

OMDdeUninitialize
The routine closes all OMDDE communication and frees all the related system memory. If you call this function, you must then call OMDdeInitialize before any of the other function in the file omdde.c.
