Setting Major Intervals On An Axis

Description
Divides the axis into the number of labeled intervals specified by major, where major is an integer scalar. (The value type functions are described in the gxaxis(type) . The values min and max function are described in the gxaxis(type, min, max) .)

Example
If you enter
     ginit
     gplot(seq(4))
O-Matrix will draw a plot. If you then enter
     gyaxis("linear", 0, 5, 5)
the resulting y-axis will linear and ranging from 0 to 5 with 5 major intervals.
