Saving Plots with Data

Syntax	avsave(fileName)

Description
Saves the current contents of the Data Visualizer to the file specified by the character row vector fileName. The suffix of the file name specified by fileName must be either .h5 or .xml. If the suffix of the given file name is .h5, the contents of the viewer are saved as an HDF5 data file, or if the suffix given is .xml, the contents are saved as an XML file.

When saving data, the Data Visualizer saves all data and information necessary for re-constructing the produced plots. This provides a convenient and portable format for transferring and editing plots and data outside of O-Matrix. Data can be accessed by other tools and data and plots can be previewed and modified with the free previewer without using O-Matrix.
