Inverse Sine Function

Description
Returns the element-by-element inverse sine of value in radians, where the elements of value are real or double-precision numbers between -1 and 1, inclusive. The elements of the result are between -pi/2 and pi/2.

Example
     asin([-1., 0, 1.])
returns
     [ -1.5708 , 0 ,  1.5708 ]
