EAS Standard Variables EAS uses several standardized variables that can be used to construct user-created TA indicators or charting programs. The user should never overwrite these variables with his or her own, since this would erase the data that was either read into the program or calculated by EAS at one point during program execution. The variables used either store price data, volume, equity name, equity ticker symbol, the data or lookback periods to name a few. Other stored variables include menu names and System Variables that EAS needs to operate properly.
