charting script functions fall into two categories. The first category describes script functions which are used to add an EAS Chart Window. The second set of script functions are used to create various plots.

The following is a list of basic plotting commands. Technical indicators are a special case of plotting function and are covered elsewhere in this manual. Generally EAS plot functions take several inputs - the quantity or quantities to be plotted, lookback periods, the time period over which to plot, color and thickness. Most technical indicator functions use these as building blocks.
