Description
Selecting the Data button in the Command window links changes in the Data window with the rest of KBF. Executing this command, updates the Plot and Table windows to reflect the fact that the data values, z , may have changed. In addition, the result of the previous Fit command , x , and the other Plot variables that depend on x, are erased from the Plot and Table windows because the fit may not correspond to the data.

Errors
If an error occurs while processing the contents of the Data window, the error is reported relative to the line number in the file DATA.TXT in the temporary directory . If the error occurs while executing a Data command, the line number corresponds to the same line number in the Data window . If the error occurs while executing a Load command, this line number corresponds to the section of the Data record that is copied into the Data window.

Example
If you load the EXAMPLE.KBF the Z1 Plot and Z1 Table window will appear as follows:

If you inspect the Data window, you will notice that the data values are in the file DATA.VAL in the temporary directory . If you open that file in an editor, such as Notepad, and change the first data value from 119.372 to 200.000 the Z1 Plot and Z1 Table windows will not change. If you then execute the Data Command, the Z1 Plot and Z1 Table windows will change to reflect the new data value.
